THE STORY

Teen-Beat catalogue numbers were assigned to both disks of this doulbe album in March of 2010 when the band asked Teen-Beat to release the vinyl edition the album (plus one additional track) to accompany the release of the compact disk and download on Merge Records. The double LP was to be made of two 12� "EPs". The first EP would have carried the number 482 and the second would have been 492 and both would have likely been packaged in one double-album gatefold jacket.

The vinyl was to be released by Teen-Beat, but licensed from Merge. Merge insisted that vinyl release was to be three months after that of the compact disc. This was a bit of a conundrum for Teen-Beat.

On April 28, 2010, Merge Records decided that they would release the vinyl edition themselves. A double album gatefold vinyl edition was released by Merge on August 3, 2010, along with the compact disc edition of the album.
