Teen-Beat Holiday Cards
2014 / 2015

A set of four holiday cards sent to friends and allies and small amount of our precious Teen-Beat mail orderers. Each card features a photograph of the Teen-Beat staff taken inside Teen-Beat 321 all strung together with red and white baker's twine. Each bundle comes inside an envelope with a label featuring one of three group photographs. The envelopes are individually numbered from 1 to 148.

PHOTOGRAPHIC CARDS

Four business card-sized double-sided full-colour photographic holiday cards printed with each of the four members of the Teen-Beat staff. Each card has a 1/16" hole with red and white baker's twine keeping them together.

INTERIOR ENVELOPE

No.6 3 1/2" x 6" Manila coin envelope. One of three different colour labels adhered with a substance known as "glue."

EXTERIOR ENVELOPE

No.10 kraft paper envelope. Teen-Beat 418 rubber stamping in blue ink on the upper left corner. Recipient address hand-written in black ink. On the back, the Teen-Beat catalogue number "537" is stamped on the flap in red ink. To the right of that is the individual card number in blue.

POSTAGE STAMPS

Stamps manufactured and purchased from the United States Postal Service.

64 cards mailed with Vintage Circus Posters first class "Forever" stamps issued in 2014 and designed and art directed by Greg Breeding and Jennifer Arnold.

8 cards mailed to locations outside of the United States of America with Global Forever Evergreen Wreath Air Mail stamps issued in 2013 at a cost of $1.15/per stamp and art directed by William J. Gicker.

73 cards mailed with Gingerbread Houses first class "Forever" stamps issued in 2013 and art directed by Derry Noyes.

3 cards hand delivered without stamps.
